These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Grainstorm services at grainstorm.news, including email newsletters and optional SMS alerts. By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Service description

Grainstorm provides agricultural market intelligence, including tiered email newsletters. Strategy-tier subscribers may optionally enable SMS sell alerts through the subscriber dashboard. Grainstorm content reflects model-portfolio guidance and general market analysis — not individualized financial, legal, or marketing advice for your specific operation.

Not professional advice

Grainstorm does not know your break-even, basis, inventory, contracts, or elevator terms. Newsletter and SMS content is informational and educational. You are solely responsible for your marketing and risk decisions. Past performance and model results do not guarantee future outcomes.

Accounts and subscriptions

• You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials secure.
• Subscriptions are billed through Stripe according to the plan you select.
• Tier features (Insight, Trends, Strategy) are described on our website and may evolve over time.
• You may manage or cancel billing through the customer portal linked from your dashboard, subject to Stripe and plan terms.

SMS sell alerts (Strategy tier)

SMS alerts are optional and require separate explicit consent. To opt in, an active Strategy-tier subscriber must:

1. Log in at grainstorm.news/dashboard.html
2. Enter a valid US mobile phone number
3. Check the consent box agreeing to receive automated Strategy sell alert texts
4. Save profile settings

Consent to receive SMS is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies depending on market conditions and may be zero on days with no sell signal. Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP (or UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT) to any message, or by disabling SMS alerts on your dashboard. Reply HELP for assistance.

We do not offer keyword-based SMS opt-in (for example, texting JOIN to subscribe). Supported carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Grainstorm services, including attempting unauthorized access, reselling content without permission, or interfering with system operation.

Intellectual property

Grainstorm content, branding, and materials are owned by Grainstorm or its licensors. Your subscription grants a personal, non-transferable license to access content for your own use.

Disclaimer of warranties

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Grainstorm and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for trading or marketing losses arising from use of the services or reliance on content delivered by email or SMS.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
